Electric way, a Dubai based distributor of electrical products, has been awarded ‘Gulf Capital Business of the year recognition.’
The award was in recognition of re-inventing a traditional business model with technology as the differentiator and for an exceptional company vision and realistic future plans while ensuring the continuous professional development of its people, according to the citation.
Atheeq Ansari, founder and the CEO of Electric Way, received the award from Dr Karum El Solth, co-founder and CEO of Gulf Capital.
Founded in 2003, Electric Way is engaged in the distribution of electric products to the construction, oil and gas and power generation sectors. Started as a trading business with a traditional model, the firm has reinvented itself by undergoing a digital transformation journey within the company resulting in efficiency and transparency across the value chain.
