    Electric Way invests Dhs20m on new plant in Dubai

DUBAI: A leading conglomerate, Electric Way, one of the main provider of power cables and construction wires, on Monday inaugurated its regional headquarters and manufacturing plant at National Industries Park, aiming at providing services and solutions for companies across the UAE and the GCC region.

The fifteen year old company that specialises in managing cable requirements for projects and end users has invested close to Dhs20 million in the state of the art modern infrastructure, that is the only one of its kind in the Middle East and Africa region.

The warehouse will accommodate over seven thousand products, making it one of the largest warehouses and facility for electrical equipment in the UAE. The new premises was officially inaugurated in the presence of Mohammed Al Muallem, CEO of Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) Senior Vice President and Managing Director of DP World UAE Region; and Mohamed Meeran, Chairman of Electric Way and Atheeqe Ansari, CEO of Electric Way, and Andrew Shaw, Managing Director of DUCAB.

Atheeqe Ansari, CEO of Electric Way, said that the inauguration marks a new stage in the company’s pioneering position in this sector, allowing Electric Way to offer its services to a wider base of companies in the region, including high quality medium voltage cables, electrical accessories, power cables, construction material, lighting solutions, and more.
